- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate time, cost, and labor estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure accurate and competitive bids.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with project costs.
- Proven experience as a construction estimator.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and labor costs.
- Proficiency in estimating software.
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
