Jason MacDonald named new Vice President at Mobile Medical Response

Mark Thompson, MMR CEO has named Jason MacDonald Vice President of Operations for Mobile Medical Response. MacDonald has been employed by MMR since 1996 and has served the organization in a variety of roles including staff paramedic, paramedic supervisor, operations manager and operations director. He is also an Instructor/Coordinator and previously taught EMT-Basic programs prior to taking on leadership responsibilities.

In his new role, MacDonald will provide oversight and direction for the clinical and ambulance operational aspects of the organization. In addition to the core EMS functions, he is responsible for MMR’s Medical Communications (Dispatch) Center, Information Technology, Disaster Response, EMS training centers as well as the ambulance sales arm of the organization, Mercy Sales, Inc. MacDonald serves on the Michigan Association of Ambulance Services Board of Directors and various other State of Michigan EMS boards and committees.

MacDonald received a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in 2011, and a Masters of Business Administration in 2014 from Davenport University. He is currently pursuing his doctorate in Business Leadership from Capella University, and is expected to complete this endeavor by the end of the year.
